Black Kiko Knee Warmers

For me, kneewarmers are an essential bit of kit for long rides, especially in Spring and Autumn when you can see a 10C swing between breakfast and lunch. The Kikos are warm enough to protect vulnerable knees but never overpoweringly so. You see beading with light rain and they don’t lose any insulation when wetted-out. Use a tape measure and check the SG size chart – I bought the same size as my Orkaan shorts and 3/4 tights but I have to wear them an inch or two lower than expected. Must be those Cipo’ quads. The leg grippers are simple but effective, and like all the Orkaan kit I’ve bought, there’s enough gentle stretch to cope. The rear seams are great too – none of that pressure behind the knee which can spoil snug knee- and leg-warmers. At present (April) I’m using them with Orkaan bibshorts and I’m very pleased with the overall system.
